We are a group of citizens concerned about the direction our nation is heading. Our mission is not merely to complain about the serious problems our nation is facing, but to offer common sense solutions that all Americans would agree are needed.
Two hundred and fifty years ago, the Founders of our nation declared Independence from Tyranny - noting that we are all created equal and that we all possess certain inalienable rights including the right to Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness.

In the same Declaration of Independence, our Founders provided a long list of unresolved grievances they had been subjected to. These grievances were not merely about a non-existent or broken election system (aka taxation without representation). They were upset that their legal system had been suspended. Many of their homes had been confiscated. Their jobs had been taken away by global monopolies – which raised prices on essential goods. Inflation was rampant and their currency was worthless. Americans were forced to pay huge taxes for a global war England had just won against the French. Worst off all, people were arrested and even shot or hanged for speaking out or writing about any of these injustices.
In 1775, the First Continental Congress pleaded with the King to address these problems. But their pleas fell on deaf ears and instead the King sent Red Coats to enforce still more tyranny. So on July 4, 1776, as a last resort, the Second Continental Congress issued a Declaration of Independence.
Today, our nation is faced with problems remarkably similar to those faced by our Founding Fathers:
* We are forced to pay trillions of dollars in taxes for never-ending global wars that most Americans are opposed to and certainly never voted for.

* Our election system has become little more than a bribery and kickback scheme where billions of dollars are spent electing corrupt politicians who then give massive tax breaks to the trillion-dollar corporations that paid for their elections.

* Millions of Americans have lost their jobs and at the same time lost their health insurance and their life savings.

* Even those still with jobs are often unable to pay their mortgages, medical bills and sky rocketing property taxes leading to millions of Americans losing their homes through unfair and even rigged home foreclosure sales.

* Massive billion dollar Artificial Intelligence data centers are sprouting up like mushrooms doubling and even tripling home energy bills. We are literally paying twice for the AI robots that are take over our jobs.

* In addition to a broken election system, a broken judicial system and a broken economy, our education system has been completely taken over by radicals who lie to small children by falsely telling them that boys can become girls simply by changing their names and taking drugs. Thousands of parents who objected to the state giving their kids toxic drugs have had their kids taken away from them. Meanwhile, national test scores on reading and math tests have never been worse.

* To add insult to injury, due to a dispute between a few Senators and the President, more than one hundred and sixty million people due not have a Constitutional, Senate-approved US Attorney to even file a complaint with if their civil rights have been violated.

* Nor are any of these problems likely to be resolved any time soon as our corporate controlled legacy media never informs the public about any of these crimes against the People. Instead, the so-called “news” has become little more than Hollywood gossip and stupid dog tricks.

* Sadly, both of our major political parties have become so corrupt that there is also most no hope of either party doing anything other than accusing the other political party as being the cause of all of our problems.

So how can We, the People, solve these problems?
One hopeful development as been the rise of “alternative news sources” that have taken advantage of the Internet. We intent to promote some of the wisest and best informed of these independent news sources.
But we believe that what is really needed is a way to unite our nation. We need a “Common Shared Vision” and a process for solving problems. We believe that the one and only tool that can save our nation is something that all Americans, right and left, young and old, already agree upon as being the foundation of our nation. That foundation, that Common Shared vision, that tool for solving our problems is the US Constitution.

In fact, we believe that the root cause of our political and economic problems is a failure to understand and honor our US Constitution. In order to address this problem, our guiding mission is to take steps to return to a government of the People, by the People and for the People – beginning with restoring a greater understanding of and respect for our Constitution.

Our first goal in carrying out this mission is to provide well researched information on the history and meaning of our Constitution. We are therefore publishing a series of books on the Constitution which you can download for free from our website. Here are the first three of these free books:

Another cause of our nation’s political and economic problems is a failure on the part of our nation’s current leaders to take the time to learn the truth and have the courage to tell the truth. Voters are literally swimming in an ocean of lies.

If voters do not know the Truth, it is impossible to solve problems, resolve candidates or elect better leaders. Therefore, our second goal in carrying out our mission to restore a government of the People, by the People and for the People is to honor American Patriots who have taken the time to learn the truth and shown the courage to tell the American People about violations of our Constitution.

For example, in 2013, Edward Snowden risked his life to inform the American people that we were being subjected to unconstitutional mass surveillance.

On this page is a list of our first award winners. If you know of an American Patriot who deserves to be added to our list, contact us with their name, accomplishments and contact information.
Our third goal is to alert the American people about serious Constitutional violations where elected officials are failing to comply with their Oath of Office to “preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States of America.”

Sadly, there are many examples of our current political leaders ignoring the US Constitution and violating their Oath of Office. We will begin by explaining why the US Attorneys are required to protect the right of the People to petition the government for Redress of Grievances.

How can we win the war being waged against our Constitution and restore our inalienable rights?
The greatest weapon we have to win the war being waged against our Constitution is to learn the Truth and tell the Truth. As it says in the Bible, “We will learn the Truth and the Truth will set us free.”
So how do we discover the Truth about our Constitution?
In 1833, a US Supreme Court Justice named Joseph Story published a 900 page book called Commentaries on the Constitution. Joseph Story was appointed to the US Supreme Court by James Madison in 1811 and served on the US Supreme Court for over 30 years where he was a close friend of Chief Justice John Marshall. Story also started the Harvard Law School in 1829. His book included dozens of quotes from James Madison and hundreds of quotes from the Federalist Papers. But crucially, it also included thousands of quotes from more than 300 other authorities, including several landmark Supreme Court rulings, explaining both the history and meaning of every section of the US Constitution. Thus, Commentaries on the Constitution was by far one of the most important books ever written about the US Constitution.

Story’s father, Elisha, was a member of the Sons of Liberty and participated in the Boston Tea Party. Elisha also fought at the battles of Lexington, Concord and Bunker Hill. Joseph Story put so much effort into writing his book on the US Constitution because he feared that the failure to understand the Constitution might lead to a Civil War and he hoped that a better understanding of the Constitution might prevent this war.
While he failed to stop the Civil War, Story’s explanation of “American Republicanism” led to the founding of the Republican Party and greatly influenced Abraham Lincoln on the importance of preserving the Union. In fact, Lincoln’s most famous line, “a government of the People by the People and for the People” came from Joseph Story, who stated in Commentaries Book 3, Chapter 5, Paragraph 397 that the government created by the US Constitution was a government “made by the People, made for the People and is responsible to the People.”

There was only one problem with Joseph Story’s Commentaries on the Constitution. The only available digital versions of the book, while free and open source, contained thousands of spelling and formatting errors. For example, the word favor used an older spelling of “favour”.
In order to provide this book to a new generation of patriots, we spent a considerable amount of time using a spell checker to fix these errors. The book was still largely unreadable because Story was fond of using extremely complex sentences with lots of conjunctions. So we broke up these complex sentences into simpler and shorter sentences. Story also used several words that are no longer in common use. We replaced these with modern synonyms. Story also used a lot of Latin phases – many of which we translated into English. Story also included page after page of legal history often going all the way back to Greece and Roman times. Some of these we left, but many we deleted as being irrelevant to the historical interpretation of the US Constitution. Finally, the book included numerous formatting errors that made reading difficult. We corrected these formatting errors, which while making the book much more readable, also increased the number of pages to 1270. We have written a book on formatting to improve readability, called Better Word Processing, which you can read for free at this LINK – and which explains how to format any book.

In addition to providing a modern version of Joseph Story’s Commentaries on the Constitution, we have added the following documents, which Story also included in the Appendix of his book:
A1 Declaration of Rights 1774
A2 Declaration of Independence 1776
A3 Articles of Confederation 1781
A4 Constitution of the United States of America 1789
A5 Washington’s Farewell Address 1796
A6 Jackson Declaration on the Nullification Act 1832
A7 Story’s Glossary of Legal Phrases 1840
As a gift to the American people, and in honor of the 250th Anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, we are providing Story’s Commentaries on the Constitution available for free as either a PDF or EPUB at the following LINK.

In addition, Story also wrote an Abridged version of his Commentaries, reduced to only 250 pages, which he published in 1840. I have therefore also created a readable version of this shorter book which is also available for free at the same LINK. It is intended for people who do not have the time to read the entire 900 page book and it also includes the same 7 documents in the Appendix.

What difference would it make if more citizens read one of Joseph Story’s books and became aware of the true meaning of the US Constitution?
Right now, our Constitution is lying in the mud. During the past year, the leaders of both political parties, for reasons of their own, chose to violate their Oath of Office and ignore the plain meaning of Article II, Section 2 of the US Constitution which states that the President SHALL NOMINATE and the Senate SHALL PROVIDE ADVICE and CONSENT of ALL OFFICERS – including US ATTORNEYS for each and every federal district. This year, due to the unconstitutional Senate Blue Slip policy, the President has not nominated and the Senate has not provided Advice and Consent on US Attorneys for 37 of of 93 federal districts. As a consequence, due to the illegal Senate Blue Slip policy, for the first time in our Nation’s history, 37 of 93 federal districts do not have a valid, Senate-confirmed US Attorney. Lacking a valid US Attorney, more than one hundred million citizens in our Nation have lost their Constitutional and Inalienable Right to Petition the Government for Redress of Grievances.

If more people read one of Story’s books, they would not only learn more about our Constitution, they would learn that it is up to We, the People, to preserve, protect and defend our Constitution. They would learn that it is up to each of us to demand that our elected leaders comply with the Constitution. They would learn that the US Constitution is more important than either political party. They would learn that We, the People, need to make the preserving, protecting and defending the US Constitution the most important issue of this years election and every years election.
There are 33 Senators running for election this year and 34 more Senators running for election in 2028. We need to demand that these Senate pledge to end the Senate Blue Slip policy – and if they refuse, we need to replace them with someone who will pledge to end the Senate Blue Slip policy.
The US Constitution is the foundation of all of our Rights. If our Constitutional Republic is to endure, if we want to restore Parental Rights or any other Inalienable Rights, then we must ALL make Preserving, Protecting and Defending our precious Constitution our highest priority.

We are just getting started. We intend to provide more books and other historical documents related to our inalienable rights and US Constitution in the coming months. If you would like to be notified about these resources, or if you would like us to speak to your group in person or via video conference about the US Constitution, send me an email:
Happy Birthday America!

David Spring M. Ed.
